At Ribchester St Wilfrid’s, we want every child to flourish, knowing that they are loved, cared for, and valued as individuals. Our staff strive to do what is best for every child and to nurture them in a safe and supportive environment.

As a Church of England school, our Christian faith and values are at the heart of everything we do. We don’t just teach about Christian values – we live them, modelling them each day and encouraging children to carry them into their own lives, both in school and at home. Our teaching is rooted in the Bible, with Jesus as our greatest role model, guiding us as we explore His life and example together.

Religious Education is a core subject in our school, taught with care and importance. We dedicate 10% of curriculum time to RE, ensuring high-quality teaching and resourcing. Faith is not something we add on – it runs through all aspects of school life.

We want our children to grow in faith, maturity, and confidence, ready to take on the responsibilities of a Christian life. St Wilfrid’s is proud to play a vital role in the mission of the Church, helping every child to discover and use their unique, God-given gifts.

Our strong links with Ribchester St Wilfrid’s Church are central to school life, and we are blessed by the support of Rev Can McConkey, Dr Kirby and Rev Ness. All of our children attend weekly church worship, led by our clergy, and we take pride in living out our values through charity and fundraising that reach far beyond our school community.
